World Series of Poker schedule announced
HARRAH'S, the casino and hotel chain who own the World Series of Poker (WSOP), have announced the schedule for the 41st running of the event.

fees ranging from $500 (Casino Employees event) to $50,000 (Player Championship).
The WSOP, which has been running since 1970, will conclude, as is customary, with the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship (the Main Event) which begins on July 5 and will reach its final table (nine players) on July 17, at which point play will be halted and a "November Nine" will return to play before a live audience with special primetime coverage on
ESPN from November 6.
In 2009 the WSOP generated its largest ever number of individual entries - 60,875 in total - from 115 different countries who competed for more than $174 million in prizemoney.
