THE inaugural Racing Post Poker Derby Day tournament was won by Wolfisloose who picked up $450 in last weekend's 45-player, $25 + $2.50 event.
The winner supplemented his prize by $50 when knocking out Racing PostGreyhound guru Jim Cremin in 25th place. Second overall was reelj.
The honor of taking Tom Segal out of the contest went to jonathan69 - who finished third at the end.
Segal was the first Racing Post scalp tobe claimed. The racing tipster was removed from the fray in 36th place. It was Flaming_Moe who was to remove Steve Dennis from the action when the writer was 27th in the contest. Football tipster Ian Wilkerson lasted a little longer. He was finally kicked out in 18th spot by SoldMySoul who in turn finished seventh.
The most successful Racing Post entrant was internet wizard Dave Horgan, username grassroots who was ultimately foiled by charlielarge when 9th and gunning glory.
