OVERTURN is to return to Donald McCain's stables having been given a clean bill of health after the dual-discipline star finished a tired last in Wednesday's Totesport Ebor.
The 8-1 shot tailed off rapidly after cutting out the pace for muchof the contest, but having spent a night at York racecourse, the six-year-old is reported to be none the worse for the experience.
"He's on his way home now," said McCain, who was unable to pinpoint why Overturn failed to perform at York.
Speaking to At The Races, the trainer also said Overturn, a winner of major prizes on the Flat and over jumps, would revert to hurdles for his next race.
