Dream Ahead to be in action at Ebor meeting

EXCITING juvenile prospect Dream Ahead is likely to be in action at York's Ebor Festival where he will have a choice of engagements between the Group 3 Goffs Acomb Stakes on August 17 or the Group 2 Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Gimcrack Stakes on the following day.

The Diktat colt was well supported on his debut over six furlongs at Nottingham in the middle of last month and put in an impressive performance when quickening nine lengths clear of the runner-up Formal Demand.

Trainer David Simcock said:  "Dream Ahead will be given an entry in the Acomb and the Gimcrack and the plan is to go to York.

"We were very pleased with the way he won at Nottingham and he has been fine since."
