A BIGGER and stronger Hoof It will return to action in Wednesday's Group 2 Duke of York totepool Stakes at York, according to part-owner Chubby Chandler.
With the ground drying to good on Wednesday morning, conditions look perfect for the Mick Easterby-trained sprinter, who is also owned by golfer Lee Westwood.
A win at York could set up a mouthwatering clash with the unbeaten star Black Caviar at Ascot and, according to Chandler, they could look to take on Frankel later in the season.
"He's won at this meeting for the past two seasons, so it's nothing new tohim," Chandler told At The Races on Wednesday morning.
He added: "He had a bit of a setback at the end of last season but he's comeback bigger and stronger, and his temperament seems to have improved as well.

Regarding future plans for Hoof It, Chandler said: "Mick was thinking about the King's Stand at Ascot to avoid Black Caviar but that's like Lee avoiding Tiger Woods!.
"We're in this game to have some fun and hopefully we will take Black Caviar on in the Diamond Jubilee. We could face both her and Frankel this season, as if Hoof It is going to get a mile anywhere it will be Goodwood [Sussex Stakes] and we might run against his as well."
Hoof It has been well supported during Wednesday morning and is 2-1 across the board, having been as big as 4-1 with Boylesports and Ladbrokes overnight. Also strong is Mayson, into 7-2 (from 9-2) with Coral.
