TWICE OVER, touched off by a head in last week's Earl Of Sefton Stakes, could get an early chance for compensation at Sandown on Saturday.
The Sir Henry Cecil-trained veteran is one of 13 entries for the Group 3 bet365 Gordon Richards Stakes, which has also attracted his stablemate World Domination, like Twice Over owned by Khalid Abdullah.
Sri Putra, Poet, Colombian and Modun are among the others left in the 1m2f event, but the names of those so far engaged in the card's Classic Trial and Celebration Chase are not yet known after they were reopened after receiving insufficient entries.
Saturday's third Group race, Leicester's totetentofollow.co.uk Leicestershire Stakes, has 17 possible starters including Godolphin's Saamidd, last seen finishing 12th in Frankel's Qipco 2,000 Guineas.
