SATURDAY'S meeting at Wetherby looks set to beat the threat of waterlogging, although an inspection has been called for 8am on the morning of racing.
On Friday morning, clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson said: "We had no rain last night and we would have raced today.
"All the waterlogged patches have gone from the racing line.
"There is 8mm of rain forecast tonight but that wouldn't cause a problem.
"We will have a precautionary inspection at 8am just in case there is more rain than forecast but we should be fine."
