THE spate of wet weather sweeping Britain and Ireland is causing plenty of headaches for clerks of the courses, with several meetings facing inspections.
Warwick's meeting on Monday is already abandoned due to waterlogging, while Uttoxeter is set to inspect at 7.30am, raising the prospect of no jumps racing in Britain on Monday, with Lingfield on the all-weather the only other meeting scheduled.
In Ireland the situation is little better with Punchestown and Tramore both inspecting for Monday's fixtures at 8am.
Moving onto Tuesday, Cheltenham is unraceable due to saturated ground with an inspection at 3pm on Monday, while Fairyhouse's meeting is also subject to an inspection at 8am the same day.
