Warwick gets all clear after snow falls on track

WARWICK has passed a 10.30am inspection for today's fixture after snow fell on the course this morning.

Officials cancelled the original 10am check first thing as heavy frost failed to materalise but the arrival of 3mm of snow caused concern for the eight-race card.

However clerk of the course Sulekha Varma (‏@SulekhaVarma) tweeted:  "Warwick: Racing Goes Ahead. Heavy and testing ground. Really don't need any more rain!"

Channel 4 will show two races from the track - the 2m4½f handicap chase and Racing Post Arkle Trophy Trial Novices' Chase featuring Fago.
