Never far off the pace, Bentley was able to commit for home turning for home, reminiscent of his Listed race win on McCartney last week on the same course.

Both are trained by Satish Seemar, who now leads the trainers' championship.

Bentley said: "He was a course-and-distance winner so I knew we had a lot in our favour after three decent runs this season.

"The horses are running exceptionally well and it has been a remarkable experience for me thus far in the UAE.

"I really only thought I would be work riding so am indebted to Mr Seemar and the owners for giving me this amazing chance."
