Attrition confirmed for Navan's Boyne Hurdle

WAR OF ATTRITION, who made all to land the Galmoy Hurdle over 3m at Gowran Park last month, will run in the Ladbrokes.com Boyne Hurdle at Navan on Sunday in what could be his final start before the John Smith's Grand National in April.

The 2006 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner has been confirmed an intended runner in Sunday's 2m5f event by trainer Mouse Morris, who said: "The plan is torun War Of Attrition at Navan.

"Whether he runs in the National will depend on the weights situation and if we think he has too much weight then he will probably run in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at Cheltenham instead."

The Morris-trained eleven-year old is one of 12 entries for the Navan race and his rivals will include Ninetieth Minute who won the Coral Cup at last year's Cheltenham Festival.

An Cathaoir Mor, winner of the Grade 1 Frank Ward Solicitors Arkle Chase at Leopardstown last month, and Osana, who won his first two starts over fences at the track, head ten entries for the Grade 2 Flyingbolt Novice Chase on the same card.
