Report: Cheltenham Festival, Friday
Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Chase Challenge Cup (Grade 3) 2m½f, 5yo+, New course
Trained by Tony Martin, Savello arrived late on the scene to catch the trailblazing Next Sensation, who faded into fourth having set a terrific gallop and jumped the last in front.
Savello was also a sixth winner of the day for the Irish with Tiger Roll, Very Wood, Lord Windermere, Tammys Hill and Don Poli also claiming victory.
Claret Cloak's chances were compromised by a terrible error at the second-last fence although he rallied gamely to grab third, just behind Ned Buntline in second.
Raya Star was fatally injured in a fall.

Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle 2m4½f, 4yo+, New course
DON POLI gave conditional rider Mikey Fogarty a day to remember when galloping to a clear-cut win and provide Gigginstown House Stud with a third success on Gold Cup day following Tiger Roll and Very Wood.
Victory for the 12-1 shot secured the top trainer award for Willie Mullins, who was celebrating a fourth win of the meeting.
Thomas Crapper clung on for second at 10-1 as Caid Du Berlais (9-1) and Urbain De Sivola (33-1) filled the places for trainer Paul Nicholls.
Fogarty, from Wexford, has hit a rich vein of form this month as Don Poli was his fourth win from 14 rides. He had ridden one winner at Cheltenham before this success, on Quattrocentro for Peter Bowen in October 2010.
Michael O'Leary, owner of Gigginstown House Stud, said: "It is like I have died and gone to heaven.
"It is a fantastic training performance from Willie and he deserves to be leading trainer. Mikey is a terrific conditional jockey and gave it a brilliant ride. I'm pleased for him."
