JAYO entered the reckoning for the Irish Independent Arkle Trophy after he handed out a convincing 16-length beating to Made In Taipan at Naas.

Mikael d'Haguenet edged closer to Diamond Harry at the head of the market for the Ballymore Properties Novices' Hurdle after providing the middle leg of a treble for Mullins at Naas. Victor Chandler go 5-1 (from 6) and Boylesports and William Hill 6-1 (from 7).

Mullins made positive comments on At The Races about Saturday's Cork winner Quinola Des Obeaux, prompting Stan James to go 8-1 (from 10) in the Champion Bumper market. William Hill to introduce him at 10-1, while Hills also gave Sunday's Naas bumper winner Quadrillion a 14-1 quote for Cheltenham.

King George fourth Briareus was on Sunday backed for the Champion Chase. William Hill go 20-1 (from 33) and Skybet 25-1 (from 33).
