THE Jonjo O'Neill-trained Synchronised, whose price for the John Smith's Grand National ranges from 20-1 to 33-1, was on Monday among 34 entries for Saturday's Totesport.com Midlands Grand National Chase, a race he won last year.
Since then the eight-year-old has won the Coral Welsh National and could be a major player at Aintree, providing he gets his favoured soft ground.
Eider Chase winner Companero was also entered for the Uttoxeter marathon, as was Tricky Trickster, who was well fancied for the Grand National 12 months ago.
Companero's stablemate Belon Gale was pulled-up in the Eider, but trainer Howard Johnson said on Monday: "They've both been fine since the Eider and the season's getting on. I want to get another run into them while the ground's still soft.
"We'll see what the ground's like and make a decision on Thursday - they could both run."
