Trading Leather strongly fancied at the Curragh

TRADING LEATHER is all the rage to build on the solid form he has already shown this season when taking a drop in grade for the Listed TRM Silver Stakes at the Curragh this afternoon (3.50).
Runner-up to Libertarian in the Dante, the Jim Bolger-trained colt was then third to Magician in the Irish 2,000 Guineas, and is a general 5-4 shot, (from as big as 2-1) to deliver in the 1m2f contest.

At Nottingham Mullins Way is the springer for the 5.15, now around 4-1 having been a 10-1 shot. Trained by Jo Hughes, the five-year-old's only career win was in 2011, with sixth place his best finish from his last nine runs.

Course specialist Demora is yet to finish out of the first two in three runs at the track, and has been supported for the 3.45, now 7-2 favourite from 5-1.
