MORE than £1 million will be up for grabs on the Scoop6 next Saturday after Palace Moon's failure to win the Bluesq.com Stewards' Cup meant the betrolled over for a fifth week.
Just a single ticket remained on Palace Moon going into the final leg - the Stewards' Cup - after 33-1 chance Hot Spark's victory at Newmarket, but the success of Odds And Evens in the Goodwood handicap ended the punter's dream of picking up £571,211.
A total of £414,362 was bet into the pools, and while the win fund again proved elusive, there were 48 winners of the place dividend, each of whom picked up £1,726.50.
Tote spokesman George Primarolo said: "Although one Scoop6 player managed to get to the final leg of the bet, the majority of punters found it tough going and a combined total of almost £1 million rolls over to a huge afternoon of televised racing next weekend."
In addition to the win fund currently totaling £571,211, the bonus fund has now risen to £391,472.
