My Tent bids to bounce back at Huntingdon

MY TENT OR YOURS returns to the racecourse at Huntingdon on Friday as he attempts to further his William Hill Supreme Novices' Hurdle claims in the 2m½f novice hurdle (1.20).

Trained by Nicky Henderson for JP McManus, My Tent Or Yours made the perfect start to his hurdles career when defeating subsequent Grade 1-winner Taquin Du Seuil at Ascot.

However, things went awry on his next start when failing to reel in stablemate Chatterbox on heavy ground at Newbury despite being sent off odds-on favourite.

The reserve seemed to do little to dent the view that he is a horse of Cheltenham potential - he is as short as 10-1 for the Supreme Novices' with Boylesports.

He will face a tough enough challenge at Huntingdon with useful bumper performers Population and Royal Guardsman in opposition as well as Tom George's smart God's Own.

Racing also takes place over jumps at Sedgefield, where two fences are omitted due to the ground, and on the all-weather at Lingfield, Wolverhampton and Dundalk.

Going:
Huntingdon:
Soft
Sedgefield: Soft, heavy in places
Lingfield: Standard
Wolverhampton: Standard
Dundalk: Standard
