Intriguing Keppols Hill makes debut at Ffos Las

THE jumps season continues to gain momentum on Sunday on Limerick and Ffos Las, where Paul Nicholls sends out an intriguing recruit from point-to-points in Keppols Hill.

Owned by the Timeform Betfair Racing Club and Paul Barber, Keppols Hill has landed four races out of four in points in Britain since being transferred from Ireland last year.

He makes his debut under rules in the 3m novice chase at Ffos Las (4.00) taking on five rivals. Grand National-winning jockey Daryl Jacob takes the ride.

"This looks quite a competitive race first time up but he has been going well at home and is a horse I like," Nicholls wrote in his Betfair column. "Lovely staying chaser in the making."

Limerick is the other feature fixture on Sunday where the Ladbrokes Munster National is the big race on the card.

Racing also takes place at Goodwood, the Curragh, at Dusseldorf - with Germany's top two-year-old race being the big draw - and in Canada where 17 European raiders contest the three Grade 1s at Woodbine.
