Gordonsville back for more at Musselburgh
GORDONSVILLE, winner of the Willie Park Trophy in 2009 and runner-up last year, returns for more in the 2m handicap at Musselburgh (3.15).
The dual-purpose performer saves his best for Musselburgh having won four of his six races at the track.
He joins forces with another course-specialist in jockey Freddie Tylicki, who operates at a 20 per cent strike-rate (21 from 107) at the venue.
Gordonsville's trainer Jim Goldie, who saddles four of the 13 runners, said: "He was disappointing at Newmarket last time, but we made too much use of him.
"He's high enough in the handicap but should run well."
Going report for today's British meetings
Musselburgh: Good to soft, soft in places
Salisbury: Heavy, soft in places
