Walford to raffle off share in juvenile filly at open morning

A SHARE in a two-year-old for a year isthe star prize in a raffle which will be held at Tim Walford's annual open morning at his stables at Cornborough near Sheriff Hutton in North Yorkshire next Sunday, September 14.

"She's a filly by Catcher In The Rye called Canyoucatcher. She's unraced but ready to run," said the trainer.

"We will also have horses galloping, and schooling, and if even the schooling ground is too wet they will jump in our sand arena.                                                       

"There will also be plenty of other activities for everyone to enjoy," he added.

Proceedings are from 10am to 12.30, admission is £5 with children free and all money raised, including from the raffle, will be donated to the Robert Alner fund.
