Talented Kid trimmed
for Leicester feature

TALENTED KID, who made a winning start to his Flat career at Windsor last month, will bag a second success at Leicester today if the betting proves correct.

The son of Teofilo did not race for Saeed Bin Suroor and ran in three bumpers - winning none of them - for John Ferguson.

However, he joined Mark Johnston's yard in the summer and scored a cosy success under Adam Kirby at Windsor last time.

Initially a best-priced 11-4, Talented Kid is 5-4 generally to win Leicester's feature at 2.50, although some firms are just 11-10.

Be My Rock also runs at Leicester and is another to be cut for victory.

The Rae Guest-trained four-year-old, who contests the 5.20, is as short as 15-8 and as big as 5-2 (Boylesports) having been 9-2 originally.

Trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies and his jockey-son Sam team up in Worcester's opener with Go On Arch, who 2-1 (from 5).
