A week after the only runner not covered in the final leg ended particpants' dreams, the two remaining Scoop6 punters fought out the finish of the Betfred Eider Chase as Portrait King rallied to beat last-fence leader Posh Bird.
The successful syndicate, a previous winner of the Scoop6, banks £451,943 from a 120-line bet among other larger perms and can add the bonus fund £352,227 next Saturday if finding that feature race winner.
The Jackpot pool doubled to over £800,000 but there was only £59 left after four races. Agent Archie carried forward all but £2.50 with Helpston having the second-highest total of £16 in the last leg, resulting in a £38,735.40 dividend to each pound.
There were 4,495 winners of the place fund, each picking up £22.20.
