OLDRIK, who has hist first start on the Flat for 391 days, has had his chances of victory boosted by the defections of three rivals at Bath.
The Philip Hobbs-trained nine-year-old, well beaten in a handicap chase at Fontwell this month, runs off top weight at 2.00 in a class 5 handicap over 1m5f, but will not face Hallmark Star, Jalors and Highlife Dancer.
Belle Bayardo runs in Bath's 4.40 and is 6-1 (from 8) with William Hill, who make Australia Day 100-30 (from 5) for Kempton's feature at 4.25.
A bigger price is Arbeo - representing Diana Grissell and Sam Thomas - but he is now 20-1 with Hills having been 40-1.
The firm also reported a change for Sea Cadet in the 3.50. The Laura Mongan-trained ten-year-old is 8-1 (from 20).
