Triple Grade 1 winner Bostons Angel was sent to showjumper Con Power

BOSTONS ANGEL could line up in Thetote.com Punchestown Gold Cup next Wednesday after taking a holiday with legendary showjumper Con Power.
His three Grade 1 wins as a novice last season included the RSA Chase but he has disappointed this season and after a third poor display in a row at Fairyhouse trainer Jessica Harrington sent him away.
She said: "After Bostons Angel pulled up in the Bobbyjo Chase in February we decided to try and rekindle his enthusiasm by sending him down to Mags and Con Power.
"He spent four weeks with them and did some hunting and jumping banksand ditches. He worked this morning and went well. We're happy with him."
Bostons Angel is a 33-1 shot for the Punchestown Gold Cup behind the general 7-2 favourite Quito De La Roque.
Harrington confirmed that Steps To Freedom will run in the Evening Herald Champion Novice Hurdle on Tuesday unless the ground is very testing.
Other Grade 1 runners for theyard will include Jetson in the 3m novice hurdle on Wednesday and his half-brother, Jezki, in the Betchronicle.com Champion Bumper on the same day.
