Jockey changes galore at sole remaining fixture
WITH Doncaster among the meetings lost to the weather, the agents of Luke Morris, Danny Tudhope and Andrew Mullen have been hard at work securing rides for their jockeys at Southwell, with a total of ten jockey changes at the all-weather venue.
Luke Morris will now ride the Scott Dixon-trained pair of Lucky Mountain in the 1.25 and Docofthebay in the 3.10, while he also comes in for the ride on the Alastair Lidderdale-trained Michael's Nook in the 3.45.
Danny Tudhope picks up three rides for his boss David O'Meara, aboard Petrol in the 2.00, Frontier Fighter in the 3.10 and The Codger in the 4.20.
Andrew Mullen will ride the Michael Appleby-trained trio of Thorpe Bay in the 2.35, The Lock Master in the 3.10 and Maggie Pink in the 4.50, while also picking up the ride on the Alan McCabe-trained Sextons House in the 3.45.
There have also been a few minor market moves at Southwell, Britain's sole remaining fixture, with Royal Skies now as short as 8-11 for the 1.25, having been 5-4 on Saturday morning.
In the 2.00 Linroyale Boy is as short as 2-1 (from 11-4), while in the 3.10 Dubai Hills is into 5-4 (from 7-4) and Frontier Fighter is 15-8 (from 9-4). In the 3.45 Mataajir is also into 2-1 (from 11-4).
In the 4.50 Conas Ata Tu has been backed into 5-2 (from 4-1) to give Martin Dwyer some good news, while the Violet Jordan-trained McConnell has halved in price and is as short as 7-2, having been 7-1.
