The Richard Hannon-trained filly, who justified strong support on her debut at Goodwood last month, looked extremely vulnerable when True Verdict loomed up on her outside.

However, she refused to be passed and was once again moving away from the challenger by the time she hit the line.

The rest of the field was comfortably beaten, although Scream Blue Murder was denied a clear run.

Richard Hannon jnr said: "She's a lovely filly and crying out for seven furlongs, though she will be entered in the Albany [over 6f at Royal Ascot]. She stuck her neck out well.

"I'm not saying she's a Guineas filly but she's that type of make - big and not just a two-year-old."
