RACEGOERS at Clonmel are in for a treat this afternoon, as Henry de Bromhead's top class chaser Sizing Europe lines up in the Grade 2 Clonmel Oil Chase (2.25).

The ten-year-old was due to run in the JNwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal earlier this month, but swerved the contest as the ground became too soft.
Conditions are again forecast to be on the slow side, but de Bromhead said: "He looks well and is in great form. He's shown that he's comfortable over two and a half miles on soft ground so we're hoping for a good run."
Tranquil Sea is the main danger, with the Edward O'Grady-trained ten-year-old seeking a third consecutive win in the race. On the same card there is also a Grade 3 chase for mares, with the progressive Tarla chasing a fifth win in her last six starts.
Ludlow and Taunton both host jumps cards, while there is all-weather action from Southwell in the afternoon, and Kempton in the evening.
Clonmel: Soft, (heavy in places on hurdles course).
Kempton: Standard.
Ludlow: Good.
Southwell: Standard.
Taunton: Good, good to soft in places.
