Sherwood's Rouge cut to make winning comeback

THE Oliver Sherwood-trained Rouge Et Blanc, absent for 687 days and with form figures of FPPP, is 11-2 (from 9) with William Hill to make a winning return to action at Folkestone.

He faces eight rivals in the 2m handicap chase at 1.30.

Coverholder, who is trained by Tim Vaughan, also has an absence to overcome when he contests the handicap hurdle for amateur riders at 2.30.

He has had 309 days off, but is 11-4 (from 5) with Hills, who make Fitandproperjob 6-1 (from 12) for the race.

Vintage Kid, a stablemate of Coverholder, runs at Towcester and Hills go 9-2 (from 13-2) about him winning the 1.15.

Thecornishcockney, a winner at Wolverhampton on Friday and again on Monday, bids for a hat-trick at the track in the 3.40.

He is 9-4 (from 3) with Hills, who are 5-1 (from 8) about newcomer Exclusive Predator in the 4.10.
