THERE will be second inspections at Leicester and Wincanton on Thursday to determine whether racing can go ahead but Market Rasen has already fallen to the weather.
Wincanton will check again at 10am with the track 85 per cent raceable after a prolonged 8am inspection. Temperatures were -2C shortly before 9am but were forecast to rise.
At Leicester, there is a second inspection at 10.30am with clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson describing conditions as "very similar" to Sunday when the course was passed fit for racing after three inspections.
However, there was bad news for Market Rasen after temperatures dipped to -5C overnight and the meeting was called off shortly before 8am on Thursday.
