MONTMORENCY (Satish Seemar/Richard Mullen) galloped his way into Dubai Carnival contention with an impressive win in the only thoroughbred race at Abu Dhabi on Sunday evening.
He made all in the 7f handicap to complete a hat-trick, having already won at Meydan (Tapeta) and Sharjah (dirt) this season.

A course-and-distance winner last season, he is clearly versatile with regards underfoot conditions and could be an interesting prospect at Meydan in the coming weeks.
Richard Mullen, riding his 14th winner of the season, said: "We had a good draw in three and I was keen to get to the front and take full advantage of it.
"We went pretty quick but he stays further so I was not too concerned and he did it well. The horses continue in great form and hopefully that can continue through to the carnival."
Trainer Satish Seemar now leads the title race with 20 wins.
Earlier on the card, apprentice Harry Bentley registered his 11th win of the season on Magroom in a 1m purebred arabian maiden.
