TRAINER Roger Charlton will take things easy with the promising Top Offer, who beat only two home in Saturday's Qipco 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket.
The son of Dansili, sent off a 14-1 chance, failed to pick up on the good-to-soft ground, which connections felt would be against him.
He is entered in the Abu Dhabi Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh on May 26, but Charlton said that race may not figure on Top Offer's agenda.
Charlton wrote on his website: "Top Offer travelled well but the writing was on the wall from some way out as James [Doyle] said, he was unable to handle the conditions. I hope to start him off in a conditions race and build him back up with time and patience for the better races but he is unlikely to run in the Irish 2,000 Guineas."
Owned and bred by Khalid Abdullah, Top Offer is also in the Investec Derby and is a 50-1 chance for that.
