Collet considers Meydan options for Mariol
TRAINER Robert Collet is considering both the Dubai Golden Shaheen or the Al Quoz Sprint for his seasoned campaigner Mariol at the World Cup Meeting on March 27.
The seven-year-old is a dual Group 3 winner and took the Prix de Meautryat Deauville last August. He had previously finished second to the William Haggas-trained King's Apostle in the Prix Maurice de Gheest.
Robert Collet: undecided on race

Trainer Eric Libaud reported all was going well with Vision d'Etat, the best-priced 6-1 joint favourite for the Dubai World Cup, although cold weather was changing his training schedule.
"The horse is well but the frozen ground means we are delaying our gallops until quite late in the morning. Today our first lot was at 11.30am," said Libaud.
