Look Here in St Leger bid

LOOK HERE has been given the green light for the Ladbrokes St Leger - with Eddie Ahern set to ride the Oaks heroine for the first time.

Ralph Beckett's filly has been out of action since securing Classic honours at Epsom in June, having suffered a setback on the gallops on August 15.

Although the problem was only minor, it was enough to keep her out of contention for the rescheduled Yorkshire Oaks at Newmarket.

Look Here has returned to full fitness, however, and impressed connections with a crucial work-out on Saturday morning.

"She will beconfirmed an entry for the St Leger," Beckett told PA Sport.

"She went very well in her work this morning and we were very pleased with her.

"It's obviouslya watching brief at this stage, but she seems to be over her problems and will definitely be confirmed for the Leger.

"We will tick away quietly until the race - she is fit and we're ready to race."

With Look Here's regular rider Seb Sanders crocked with a broken leg, Ahern will deputise in the final Flat Classic of the season at Doncaster next Saturday.

Ahern said: "I finished behind her in the Oaks Trial at Lingfield and she is a cracking filly.

"I went down on Tuesday morning to see her and it is agreat opportunity for me to have a good chance in a Classic."
