Sand Boy backed to keep Ferguson happy

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Sir Alex Ferguson will have been all smiles yesterday after his team landed a home tie in the next round of the FA Cup and punters believe his good luck will continue on Monday.

Ferguson is among the owners of Sand Boy, who bids to open his account at the third time of the asking in the 6f maiden at Kempton.

As big as 7-2 when the offices opened this morning, Ladbrokes, BetVictor, William Hill and bet365 have all cried enough and offer just even-money now.

Adam Kirby is turning the all-weather jockeys' championship into a procession at present and looks likely to add to his tally in Kempton's opener at 1.20.

Kirby rides Camachoice for Marco Botti in the mile handicap and Ladbrokes and BetVictor have slashed his price to 2-1 from a morning high of 5-1.
