Punters latch onto Riguez Dancer at Kelso

THE booking of leading amateur rider Nico de Boinville has resulted in punters latching on to Riguez Dancer in the 2m 7½f amateur riders' handicap chase (2.10) at Kelso on Thursday.

Trained by Ferdy Murphy, Riguez Dancer is back down to his last winning mark of 127 and has been cut to 5-1 (from 10) with Paddy Power to claim victory.

He is also 6-1 (from 10) with William Hill and Ladbrokes, 11-2 (from 10) with Totesport and 6-1 (from 8) with bet365.

Mark Ball, syndicate manager for owners Let's Live Racing, wrote on Twitter: "Kelso today for Riguez Dancer. Will be sharper than at Wetherby, trip to suit, class amateur booked, hope he can go well.

"Ground heavy but he's won on heavy. It will turn 2m7f into a slog. Hoping it's not too bad but Riguez's tough."

Evergreen Forest has been well supported for a second race in succession at Kempton.

The Tommy Keddy-trained runner was backed into favouritism on his debut for the stable last time out and is into 3-1 (from 7) with William Hill for the 1m4f handicap (7.00).

Paddy Power have shortened Evergreen Forest to 100-30 (from 13-2), he is 7-2 (from 7) with Betfred and 100-30 (from 6) with Ladbrokes.
