A 34-length winner on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse earlier in the month, the JP McManus-owned Defy Logic takes a big rise in grade, and faces the unbeaten Annie Power, Don Cossack and Moscow Mannon.
However, Defy Logic's backers believe there is plenty more to come, with the six-year-old, who holds an entry in the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, as short as 11-8 (from 7-4).
Elsewhere, Volt Face makes his debut for David Pipe in the concluding bumper at Towcester (5.00), and is now odds-on at a best-priced 4-7 (from 11-8) to make a winning start.
