Punters chasing gold at Punchestown

HE may be out of the handicap but that hasn't affected confidence behind Forever Gold in the 2m 4f handicap hurdle at Punchestown (2.00).

Yet to win in five races under rules, Forever Gold hadn't threatened in his last three starts but did catch the eye when fifth in a Down Royal maiden hurdle in November.

He's been handed a lowly rating of 106 on his handicap debut and has attracted support across the board, with Betfred now 5-1 (from 12-1).

In the feature Bobbyjo Chase, Prince De Beauchene is now an odds-on favourite following the withdrawal of Quito De La Roque.

A general 10-1 shot for the John Smith's Grand National, Prince De Beauchene is 8-11 (from 6-4) for today's race with Paddy Power.

Over at Chepstow, there's been an interesting move for the Phillip Dando-trained Autumn Haze in the 2m ½f handicap chase at 4.30.

Despite being winless in five starts, bet365 have been forced into 10-1 (from 20s).
