Fox making plenty of appeal at Kempton

FOX APPEAL, who visited the winners' enclosure on three occasions last year and was thought good enough to run at the Cheltenham Festival, has been well supported to get back to winning ways at Kempton this afternoon.

Trained by Emma Lavelle, Fox Appeal finished ninth in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle and a recent run back at Cheltenham should have put him spot on for today's assignment in the 2m5f handicap hurdle at 2.40pm.

A top price 10-1 with BetVictor this morning, the same firm now go just 13-2 although he's already trading at 6-1 elsewhere.

The most intriguing runner on Kempton's card has to be Group 3 winner Ransom Note, who is a solid 13-8 favourite to make a winning hurdles debut in the opener at 1pm.

Two outsiders have caught the imagination of punters at the day's only Flat meeting on Wolverhampton's Polytrack.

In division one of the 5f handicap at 1.45, Dark Lane is a general 8-1 chance (from 14-1), while Gung Ho Jack is now a 7-1 shot (from 11-1) in division two half an hour later.
