Desert Donkey backed
to score at Lingfield

PUNTERS are hoping it is third time lucky for Desert Donkey at Lingfield on Friday with the three-year-old cut for success in the 6f maiden (4.15).

Trained by Andrew Balding, Desert Donkey has finished down the field on both of his starts but has attracted support dropped in trip to 6f.

He is 3-1 (from 8) with BetVictor, 100-30 (from 8) with bet365, 3-1 (from 9-2) with Totesport and 7-2 (from 7) with William Hill.

Lingfield is one of three all-weather fixtures on Friday and Khawatim, running on the artifical surface at Dundalk, has also attracted support.

The British raider - trained by Noel Quinlan - is 5-4 (from 5-2) with Boylesports for the 6f handicap (7.20).

He is also 11-8 (from 5-2) with Paddy Power, 11-10 (from 15-8) with William Hill, 11-10 (from 28-15) with bet365 and 5-4 (from 7-4) with BetVictor.
