DOUBT surrounded the prospects of racing taking place over jumps on Thursday and attention has been turned to the all-weather action at Lingfield where Calmer Waters has been cut for the 6f juvenile maiden (1.25).

Trained by David Elsworth, who also saddles favourite Maid A Million, Calmer Waters is into 3-1 (from 10) with bet365, 5-2 (from 8) with BetVictor and 3-1 (from 8) with William Hill.

The Elaine Burke-trained Loki's Strike is another attracting attention in the 6f nursery (1.55).

The son of Firebreak, wearing a first-time visor, is into 5-2 (from 13-2) with bet365, 5-2 (from 11-2) with Blue Square Bet, 11-4 (from 6) with Betfred and 5-2 (from 9-2) with Ladbrokes.

Wincanton was finally given the go ahead to race shortly after 10am and Global Warming has been cut for the concluding 2m5f conditional jockeys' handicap chase.

The eight-year-old is 3-1 (from 5) from Boylesports, 7-2 (from 5) with Paddy Power and 100-30 (from 9-2) with Ladbrokes.
