Pipe chasing century at Chepstow and Wetherby

TRAINER David Pipe sent out his 99th winner of the season at Fontwell on Thursday and has five chances to grab a century of winners at Chepstow and Wetherby on Friday.

Pipe has saddled 100 winners in a season on four previous occassions in 2011-12, 2009-10, 2007-08 and in 2006-07 when he sent out his career best of 134 successes.

Leading Pipe's charge for a century is Oddjob (5.30), an impressive winner at Chepstow last week, although expensive purchase Western Warrior might be the one to notch that important win in the opener at the course (2.10).

Pipe's other runners on Friday are Garryleigh (2.40 Chepstow), Franklin Roosevelt (4.35 Wetherby) and Standing Ovation (6.00 Chepstow).
