Festival aim to become clearer for Module

TOM GEORGE will be hoping to have a clearer idea of what Cheltenham Festival contest to point Module at after the six-year-old runs in the 2m novice chase (2.30) at Leicester on Wednesday.

Owned by Simon Clarke, Module is under consideration for both the 2m Racing Post Arkle and 2m4f Jewson Novices' Chase at the Festival next month.

He is 40-1 for the Racing Post Arkle and 20-1 for the Jewson.

Module has won two of his three starts since joining George last year and was an emphatic winner of a 2m2½f novice chase at Newbury on his latest outing.

He faces four rivals at Leicester and is long odds-on favourite to make is two wins in three starts over fences.

Leicester is on after a 7.45am inspection was cancelled. Racing also goes ahead at Ludlow and Kempton on Wednesday.
