Bouresly eyes carnival with Bab Al Bahrain

Report: UAE, Sunday

Abu Dhabi

LIGHTLY raced Bab Al Bahrain (Rashed Bouresly/Luis Jurado) may well be seen at the Dubai Carnival after winning the 6f turf conditions race, the only thoroughbred event on Sunday's card at Abu Dhabi.

Having his third start, the six-year-old was able to sneak up the rail two furlongs out before running on in determined fashion to withstand the challenge of Tawaassol.

Bab Al Bahrain got the decision on the nod to give jockey Luis Jurado his first winner in the Emirates.

"He is a nice horse with plenty of ability," said Bouresly. "He has not stood much racing but that will guarantee him a carnival berth."
