Queen's Bay fancied for victory at Newbury

QUEEN'S BAY has her second start over fences this afternoon at Newbury (3.00) and has been backed to make it a winning one. 

The Colin Tizzard-trained seven-year-old finished fourth on her chasing debut at Ludlow last week, and is now around the 11-2 mark from 8-1.

At Kempton this evening, five-race maiden Peace In Our Time has been backed into favouritism for the 1m4f handicap (7.15). Tony Carson's runner was available at 100-30 this morning but is now a best-priced 7-4.

All-weather specialist La Estrella bids for an eight-timer this afternoon in the 2m claimer at Lingfield (12.30). Winner of 21 of his 30 starts on an artificial surface, the Don Cantillon-trained ten-year-old's sequence stretches back to December 2011, and he is a 4-7 shot to make it eight wins in a row.
