Royal third Aqlaam to return to Ascot for Mile

AQLAAM, who returned to form when third to Paco Boy in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, will head back to the Berkshire course for his next start in the Group 2 Totesport.com Summer Mile Stakes on July 11.

The son of Oasis Dream was at his most impressive when landing the Group 3 Jersey Stakes last year but suffered a setback after and did not reappear until finishing unplaced in the Group 1 Juddmonte  Lockinge Stakes at Newbury in May.

Trainer William Haggas said "Aqlaam is fine after Royal Ascot and the plan is to return there for the  Summer Mile next Saturday."
