Trained by Martin Keighley, the five-year-old is upped in trip for his handicap debut, and has been beaten a cumulative 191 lengths in his three previous starts over hurdles. However, having been a 16-1 chance earlier this morning, Typhon De Guye is now as short as 11-2.
Maidens are proving popular for a punt, with Lunette, who has her racecourse debut in the 5.55 at Kempton now down to as low as 7-2 from 10.
Ralph Beckett's filly is well bred for the 1m trip, and Beckett is in good form with three winners in the last 14 days.
