Punters latch on to four at busy Lingfield

BUSY Lingfield race again today and with punters getting increasingly familiar with a number of the horses racing there a few runners have come in for across-the-board support.

In the opener at 12.00, Shirataki is now as low as 8-1 having been 16-1 first thing. Venetias Dream for the Stuart Williams team is 3-1 (from 4) for the 12.30 while Waabel, one of two Violet Jordan runners has hit a low of 5-1 (from 14) for the 1.30.  An hour later Work Ethic is 5-2 (from 3) for the 2.30.

At Fontwell, the Tim Vaughan-trained Billybo has been backed as if defeat is out of the question in the 2.10. Early prices of 4-9 have been snapped up and he is now trading at as short as 1-4.

Up at Sedgefield, No Way Hozay has attracted each-way support for the 2.20 and is now 6-1 (from 12).
