SEVEN will line up alongside defending champion Quevega and Cheltenham Festival second Voler La Vedette in Thursday's Ladbrokes World Series Hurdle on the third day of the Punchestown Festival.
Voler La Vedette could finish only fourth to Quevega in last year's renewal, but has since come of age taking her Grade 2 tally to four and taking her first Grade 1, the Bar One Racing Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse.
Although Quevega won her fourth consecutive David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham, Voler La Vedette put in arguably a career-best to finish less than two lengths behind Big Buck's when second in the World Hurdle and she is a 5-2 shot with the sponsors to beat the 4-5 favourite.
Quevega is joined by her Willie Mullins-trained stablemates Mikael D'Haguenet and Mourad, with British raider Get Me Out Of Here also in the line up.
Berties Dream, What A Charm, Won In The Dark and Whatuthink are the remaining contenders.
The day's other Grade 1, the Ryanair Novice Chase, features Menorah and Kumbeshwar as well as Gigginstown House Stud's First Lieutenant.
