by new test failure
FRANKIE DETTORI'S return to the saddle has stalled after it emerged that France Galop is awaiting the results of a B sample taken from the world-famous jockey.
Irregularities in a recent test have led to a request from Dettori for the B sample to be tested. Each drug sample taken by a racing authority is split into equal parts with the first, the A sample, sent for testing and the B sample retained for use if required.
The outcome of the second test will determine when Dettori can return to action.
He had been due to return at Leicester on Monday after a six-month ban following a positive test for cocaine last September.
However, the comeback was delayed when the BHA said it was awaiting results of the three tests from France Galop.
