Unstoppable Pasture rattles off six-timer
THE Mick Easterby-trained Perfect Pasture continued his relentless rise up the sprint division with another comfortable success at Lingfield on Saturday - his sixth in succession.
The winning run of Jean Turpin's four-year-old started when he was fitted with a visor at Hamilton in August, since when he's added wins at Carlisle, Nottingham, Redcar, Kempton and now Lingfield.
Currently rated 93 on official figures, he was successful at Hamilton off a lowly 57 and, judged on Saturday's class 2 win over six furlongs, his days in handicap company now appear to be numbered.
Assistant trainer David Easterby said: "He's an absolute belter. The jockey [Adam Kirby] gave him a great ride. I haven't a clue where we'll go with him next but there's plenty of money around and we'll try and take it."
